So we're trolling the web and who should we spy but current Miracle Worker star and Tony Award nominee Alison Pill making a batsh*t crazy cameo in Owen Pallett’s “Lewis Takes Off His Shirt” video. Multi-phonic violinist/vocalist Pallett stars in the absurd avant-video romp, arranging sea shells and running around in sun bonnets like any good rising multi-phonic violinist/vocalist before being joined by Pill about halfway through the song. Don’t expect Pallett to duet with the corseted Annie Sullivan currently ruling The Miracle Worker. This Pill is like some hallucinated tangerine dream, an indie-pixie smeared with orange blush who plays with prop knives and insanely dances like a Shutter Island escapee with a less violent disposition. The performance is kind of adorable, in a twee hipster kind of way. Seriously, just watch it.
